ECHO Wins 2008 CLA Gamefair Open Saltwater Fly Casting and UK Womens Distance Championships
Last weekend saw us in the UK at the 50th CLA Gamefair and what a weekend it turned out to be for us and Tim Rajeff's Rods ...
... not only did an ECHO rod win the CLA Game Fair Open Saltwater Fly Casting Championships, but we also had a total of three rods in the top ten and we picked up the Manufacturers prize as well!
The Winners were:

7. Silja Longhurst, Denmark
Silja was the only female competitor in the saltwater event and just failed to quailify for the finals by a mere 50cm!!!
If that was'nt enough - Silja also won the UK Womens Trout Distance Championship - and that makes us very proud indeed

Lasse was casting with a 9'0" #9 Classic and ...
Silja chose to use a 9'0" #8 Classic.
Thanks to all who made this into a memorable weekend - in particular Ruairia Costello, Lasse Karlsson, Mark and Magnus of Fly Fishing and Fly Tying and of course Silja.
