Making A Purchase
We believe that making a purchase on our site could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Our prices are displayed in Euros and the base currency of the shop is Euros.
We accept payments from the following credit card companies:
If you are shopping from outside of the Euro-Zone, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency at the exchange rate current at the time of payment.
Althought we belive that by using WorldPay for our payment gateway that we have taken all necessary precautions to make your CC transfer safe, you may still prefer to send your credit card information to us via phone, fax, or snail-mail. Please feel free to do so.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
We have a minimum order value of 25 Euros.
Currently we only support payment from EU member-states if however you live outside the EU and would like to buy something out of our shop, drop us a mail and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Shipping And Handling
Smaller items (fly-tying materials, flies, lines etc) up to a total weight of 250g are sent via standard mail. Orders over 250g in weight are shipped via dpd or UPS, either way you will recieve an email from us when your order gets shipped.
Shipping Rates for Rods to EU countries are as follows:
D = 5;
A, B, DK, L, NL = 10;
CZ, F, MC, SK, SLO, GB = 15;
FIN, I, S; = 20;
E, EST, H, IRL, LV, LT, P, PL = 25;
Shipping costs are clearly displayed during the check-out procedure and are listed as a separate item on your invoice.
In accordance with EU regulations VAT has to be charged on all shipments within the EU. VAT will not be charged on shipments outside of the EU.
Delivery Schedule
Under normal circumstances we will dispatch your order to you in 3 business days. Orders from within the EU are normally received within 5 days from the dispatch date. International orders take a little longer, but are generally received in less than 21 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
If you do not want to wait for the back order to be delivered, please let us know as soon as possible (email or telephone) so that we can initiate the refund process. - this is done via WorldPays secure CreditCard Payment Portal. You will receive an email from WorldPay confirming that the refund has been initiated and stating the exact amount.
We will refund you the full value of the unwanted back order items, free of charge
Tax Charges
For orders made from within the European Union, 16.0% VAT is added. Orders outside of the EU are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
Credit Card data is not stored at any time on our site. When your order is placed at our website, and you checkout, you are automatically logged through to the WorldPay (Member of the Royal Bank of Scotland) secure internet site. Your credit card details are only captured on WorldPay's secure site. On completion of the transaction we are sent a transaction authorisation code from WorldPay. You receive a transaction confirmation eMail from WorldPay.
Guarantee
ECHO Rods. In accordance with US regulations Tim Rajeff offers a one year repair/replacement guarantee. Iin accordance with EU regulations BalticFlyFisher has extended the repair/replacement guarantee policy for a period of two years commencing on the date of purchase. After the guarantee period has expired, BalticFlyFisher will replace a broken section for a nominal fee of 25 Euros (plus package and postage).

a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive; we of course comply with this. All products maybe returned (at your cost) to us within 14 days of purchase for any reason, we will refund your money if these items are returned in the original packaging and are of resalable quality. We refund your money via WorldPay's secure on-line CreditCard Payment Portal - you will receive a refund confirmation mail from WorldPay stating the amount which has been refunded to you.
