ECHO Trip
A few years ago the idea of an 8 piece rod that felt like a normal 3 or 4 piece rod would only have been possible in a dream. With advanced ferrule technology and hard work, Tim Rajeff has created a series of ultra portable travel rods that cast like a dream. ECHO trip rods are designed to give you a high level of performance with very little weight or stiffness penalty. Hand your ECHO trip rod to your friend and they will not be able to tell it is an eight piece rod. The three models in this family all have a crisp medium fast action and are tricked out with graphite reel seats and titanium coated stripper guides. All components on the rods are salt friendly and each rod comes with a special case that holds more than your rod. The case measures 44cm x 17cm x 6cm (17" x 6 ½" x 2 ½") and has room for the rod, a reel and spool, a fly box or two, tippet, leaders, nipper, and everything you need for your day's fishing.

ECHO trip 8’6" #4 this is currently the smallest of the Trip Rods. Its great on small streams, and its powerful enough to cast nymphs with. When the spring comes we are going to use it to target Garfish in the Baltic.
