Whether you're using them with one hand or two, spey casting or overhead casting, switch rods have become an important tool for people who fish for large trout, sea trout and grilse. We just love the light weight and shorter length and these rods enable you to fish in tight places with two hands. With a crisp action and modest power the ECHO SR rods maintain a load during a spey cast better than rods that have an extra fast action. At 10'10" they are a perfect two hand length but are not beyond chucking with one hand when needed. The 10'6" #4 weight SR is the perfect tool for fishing for trout on those occasions when you feel you need the extreme mending and control longer rods give you. The SR4106 has a fast action.

The 10'8" #4 weight SR is the perfect tool for fishing for trout on those occasions when you feel you need the extreme mending and control longer rods give you. It can also be used as a lightweight switch rod on the coast for sea trout. The SR5108 has a fast action.

The 10'10" #6 weight SR is the perfect tool for fishing on the coast and in small rivers for sea trout. We have used it to catch Sea Trout, Baltic Steel Head (escapee Rainbows) and Cod. The SR61010 has a fast action.
