ECHO MPR
The Micro Practice Rod might seem like a toy, but it is really a precisely balanced rod, line and leader. The action of the MPR and the weight of the line are closely matched in order to imitate, as closely as possible the feel of a full-size fly rod. Because the MPR is so close to casting "the real thing", the indoor skills that you aquire with the MPR will translate into better casting on the water.
You can practice an Overhead and a Roll cast (just make sure that you're on a carpet and not on a hardwood or tiled floor) with the Micro Practice Rod. It can also be used by the Spey-Casting junkies to practice single-handed Spey casts such as the Single Spey, the Double Spey, the Snake Roll and the Snap-T all in the comfort and privacy of your living room.
