LW series
LW reels are available in sizes adapted for the lightest to the heaviest fishing.
On a braked reel, the drag must be completely waterproof in order to be reliable. It must be able to withstand all external factors, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, and water. It must be easy to use, and be maintenance-free.
Our extremely high demands for function, design, and production resulted in a fully encapsulated drag, sealed with o-rings of the highest industrial quality and completely dirt and waterproof. At the same time, we wanted to retain the advantages of a large-arbour reel. The result was the LW; nearly as light as the Original reels and with an unsurpassed drag. If you’re looking for a reel that you can always rely on, choose an LW.
The Danielsson LW is characterised by:
* Water and heat resistant bearings and drag in Hi End material.
* Functions equally well wet or dry, hot or cold, or with a light or heavy load.
* Pressure-chamber tested. Waterproof to a depth of 100m (330 feet).
* Form and friction-stable brake discs withstand heat up to 2000°C (3600 °F).
* Corrosion-protected reel made of high-tensile aluminium.
* Components made of acid-proof steel.
* Large drag knob makes it easy to adjust braking force.
* Adjustable drag with min. and max. positions within 330°.
* Spool changes with easy movements.
* Click in both directions (can be turned off).
* Quick line retrieval.
