HD series
HD reels are intended primarily for heavy-duty fishing. They are available for mid-weight to very heavy types of fishing. The HD reel has the most robust drag system of all of the Danielsson reels, and is well suited to the toughest fishing where uninterrupted drag force and perfect function put the odds in your favour. Use it for marlin, sailfish, and large salmon, or put it on the car and use it as a winch.
The Danielsson HD is characterised by:
* Water and heat resistant bearings and drag in Hi End material.
* Functions equally well wet or dry, hot or cold, or with a light or heavy load.
* Pressure-chamber tested. Waterproof to a depth of 100m (330 feet).
* Form and friction-stable brake discs withstand heat up to 2000°C (3600 °F).
* Corrosion-protected reel made of high-tensile aluminium.
* Components made of acid-proof steel.
* Large drag knob makes it easy to adjust braking force.
* Adjustable drag with min. and max. positions within 330°.
* Click in both directions (can be turned off).
* Spool changes with easy movements.
* Quick line retrieval.
